Surcotech was incorporated on 25th January 1993 to develop and market surface coating technologies for the ceramics and glass industries. In 1997 Surcotech moved to Hafner House a purpose built facility at Newent in Gloucestershire Hafner house provides modern development and manufacturing facilities for Surcotech’s liquid gold products.<\/p>\n

In 2004 Surcotech became part of the Torrecid group of companies. Torrecid are based in Alcora near Castellon, Spain. They are, through their 28 worldwide facilities, a major supplier to the ceramics industry.<\/p>\n

Surcotech becomes BS EN ISO 9001 APPROVED.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2003<\/h3>\n

Surcotech becomes BS EN ISO 14001 APPROVED.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2004<\/h3>\n

Surcotech becomes part of the Torrecid Group.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2005<\/h3>\n

Torrecid Group is awarded with the “Alfa de Oro” for the new digital tile decoration technology: INKCID\u00ae.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2010<\/h3>\n

Tecnargilla Design Award: Torrecid Group is awarded \u00a0for creativity and innovation at the Tecnargilla trade fair.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2012<\/h3>\n

Awarded with the “Alfa de Oro” for innovation in the developing of KERAMCID\u00ae and METALCID\u00ae ceramic inks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
