SURCOTECH

Semi matt gold provides a matt fired film approximately 0.1 - 0.3 micron thick without polishing.  The products are sometimes referred to as self-burnishing golds.

Semi matt formulations are similar to those of bright gold with the addition of a matting agent which can either be dissolved or held in suspension.  Dependent on the formulation semi matt gold may require shaking before use, this will be stated on the product label.

Surcotech offer a range of semi matt products with metal contents in the range 10 - 16%.  They can be provided in a pigmented form for application over dark backgrounds.
